Our founder experienced homelessness first hand and discovered that finding reliable information about human services was very difficult without the direct help of a case manager. Our goal is to help anyone with access to a smartphone, tablet, or computer find the services they need. The guide covers a variety of services, from housing and legal aid to senior services and re-entry programs.

The guide is developed and maintained by ShelterTech, a 501c(3) non-profit and our Resource Guides are built in partnership with various service providers who are experts in their field. The content on the site is vetted for accuracy 4 times per month by volunteers at our Datathon events and then verified for accuracy by our data partner, the Homeless Advocacy Project of the JDC.

We are supported by a grant from the SF Mayor's Office of Housing and Community Development and private donations. If you would like to contribute, please visit our volunteer page.
